Instructor Biography
Sifu Eric Muchowski
Sifu Dr. Eric Muchowski began his martial arts training in 1982. He was awarded his 2nd degree Tae Kwon Do black belt in 1989. Soon thereafter, he began college and was introduced to Chinese martial arts.
Sifu Eric moved to the Twin Cities in 1994 to attend Chiropractic school. After visiting many martial arts schools, he began training under Sifu Nat McIntyre in Choy Li Fut Kung Fu. He felt that no other school could match the scope and depth of training that Plum Blossom Choy Li Fut offered. He became the first Black Sash under Sifu Nat McIntyre in 1997.
Sifu Eric graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology in 1993. In 1997, he graduated from Northwestern Chiropractic College, where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic, and studied Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.
Sifu Eric resides in Minneapolis with his wife Kelly, and children Samantha, William and Benjamin. He continues to practice and teach Choy Li Fut Kung Fu, and Yang Tai Chi as a Senior Instructor under Tai Sifu Neil McRitchie, Gandmaster Doc Fai Wong and the Plum Blossom International Federation.
