Winter Children and Youth Beginner Classes

Our fall introductory Kung Fu session has just finished in our new space on 38th and Grand. These classes will be on break until January. All other classes will be running as usual. New Introductory / Beginner class will start the second week of January. These classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday at 4:15 and 5:00. There will also be kids intro classes continuing on Wednesdays at 3:00.

Registration is now open for classes so call or e-mail with questions or to reserve your space.

It’s been a long road, but our new location is now open near the corner of 38th St and Grand Ave. South in Minneapolis. Still a little work to be done but all classes are now running. (Introductory, kids, youth and adults)

Kids Introductory Kung Fu Classes Starting September

Starting the week of September 12th Golden Leopard Martial arts Center will be offering it’s Fall Kids Introductory Kung Fu session. For those not familiar with the Introductory Program it is a one day per week class. In this 11 week session kids are introduced to the basics of the Traditional Chinese Martial Art of Choy Li fut. It is designed to be a fun, fast paced class that builds focus, confidence, strength, flexibility, and agility.

Kids (ages 4 – 9) that complete the basics in our Introductory class are then prepared to move into our regular beginner program if desired.

Little Szechuan Demo. St Louis Park

Thanks to Annie from Yelp for inviting Golden Leopard to perform a Kung Fu demonstration at a new restaurant in St Loius Park for their elite gathering. Wonderful time was had by all who attended. Jin and Rong (the owners) have a little gem of a place in Little Szechuan. Demo began with a brief Lion Dance form Golden Leopards Kids and was finished with some hand weapon, and 2 person sets. Everyone was great. From the attendees to the staff. Thanks again for having us and check out the link to Yelp for more photos and postings on the event.

Dragon Boat Festival 2011

Another great performance at this years Dragon Boat Festival. Thank you to all those that took your time to come out and show your Kung Fu as well as those who came to support the School. Thank goodness we did not encounter any torrential rains this year! We have a nice batch of photos up on the website, so check out our photos page or view on Picasa. New Classes and Schedule

Check out the updated class schedule page. It includes Kids Introductory Classes for summer which are filling fast, but there are still have a few spaces open. Also includes an added Beginner Kids Kung Fu class as well as slight changes to class times for youth and adult.

Our second year participating in this wonderful event. Two days filled with a tremendous amount of Chinese Culture and activities. A big thank you to Chinese Heritage Foundation for putting on such a wonderful event. I would also like to thank all those from Golden Leopard that supported both the school and the event. Winter Beginner Class Sign Up Still Open

Have fun and build physical and mental attributes in a way that Traditional Kung Fu has been known to for thousands of years. Our Winter Beginner session starts the week of January 10th. Ages 4 – 9. There are still a few openings left.
